Want to work on improving your pickleball skills & abilities?
Our 4+ members, David Ott & Greg Ott, are offering their time and knowledge to members who are interested in developing their pickleball skills & abilities.
The drills they will go over are incredibly important and help players commit the proper pickleball mechanics to muscle memory.
A minimum of 5 are required to a maximum of 8. Please sign up on SUG if you plan to attend.

Fellow Pickleball Players - COURTS CLOSED
The pickleball courts will be closed on Sunday, January 19, February 16 and March 16, 2025 from 2:00pm to 3:30pm while the SR Band performs on the grass next to the gazebo during the "On the Green" event.

The Silveridge Pickleball Club will be putting on the following tournaments for the following skill level groups:
- Groups 3.25 to 4+: MLP format, Saturday, November 23, 2024. 10:00am-1:00pm on Courts 1 - 8
- Groups 2.5 & 3: MLP format, Saturday, January 25, 2025. 10:00am-1:00pm on Courts 1 - 8 CANCELLED DUE TO LOW # OF PARTICIPANTS
- Groups 2: Round Robin format, Saturday, February 15, 2025. 10:00am-1:00pm on Courts 1 - 8 CANCELLED DUE TO LOW # OF PARTICIPANTS
- Groups 3.25: MLP format, Sunday, March 2, 2025. 12:00pm-3:00pm on Courts 1 - 8 - CANCELLED DUE TO LOW # OF PARTICIPANTS
- Groups 3.5 & 4+: Saturday, March 8, 2025. 10:00am-1:00pm on Courts 1 - 8. Ladies only Queen of the Courts and a Men's only King of the Court will occur for each gender.
Group members will visit SUG to register for the tournament.
Fun Pickleball Play Time & Social Event and End of the Season BBQ
All members are invited to our final social event of the season to enjoy some free food, followed by playing some fun games of pickleball.
A Volunteer Appreciation Event will also take place and cake will be served in recognition of the hard work and dedication of our many volunteers.
If you plan to attend & eat we ask you to sign-up on SUG (before Thursday, March 20) to accommodate purchasing of food. Non-members will pay $5 per person for the food, which will be collected at the event.

The "King/Queen of the Hill" format was used. The winning team will be awarded a prestigious coffee mug as a reminder of their pickleball prowess.

Following the Fun Pickleball Play & Social from 1:30pm to 3:30pm, members and their spouse/significant other are invited to our annual Christmas celebration social event.

Food: A delicious dinner and dessert will be provided for a $10 per person, which will be collected at the event. The dinner will be lasagna, salad and bread sticks from the Olive Garden and cheese cake for dessert. Back by popular demand, the pickleball club is joining the tennis club and co-hosting an evening of simulated casino & bingo fun that was a park favorite several years ago.
Participants receive 500 chips they can “bet” at fairly realistic roulette, craps or blackjack tables or try to out-wit their competition in a game of Texas Hold-Em. If your game of choice is bingo you can use your chips to buy-in for that game as well.
The event is just for fun, you can’t win real money – BUT chips remaining when a participant decides to ‘cash out’ can be traded in for raffle tickets towards a host of very nice prizes, including several TVs, tablets, Amazon Echos, Ring security devices, wine baskets, gift cards, etc. The more chips you cash in the more raffle tickets you receive.
The event is limited to 300 people ($25 per person) with any profits after expenses being returned to the co-hosting clubs. You won’t be able to buy tickets from the Activities Office until January, but pickleball and tennis club members can purchase tickets in advance from their club. We will have a table set up during the Christmas Celebration party on December 9th and at the Club Expo on January 6th for anyone who wants to purchase tickets. Early purchase is highly recommended. The Activities Office will sell the remaining tickets beginning January 15 and they anticipate this event will sell out quickly.

Who: current members will visit SignUpGenius to register their attendance.
Where: ballroom
Why: elect officers for the Executive Committee, review annual membership dues, amendments to the by-laws, receive updates, and provide feedback.
Offices of Executive Committee: President; 1st Vice President; 2nd Vice President; Treasurer; Secretary; Communications Officer
Food: pizza will be served after the AGM at approximately at 5:30pm. There will be a cost of $5 per person for the meal, which will be collected at the event.

Want to work on improving your pickleball skills & abilities?
Our 4+ member, David Ott, is offering his time and knowledge to members (of all levels) who are interested in developing their pickleball skills & abilities.
The drills he will go over are incredibly important and help players commit the proper pickleball mechanics to muscle memory.
A minimum of 5 are required to a maximum of 16. Please sign up on SUG (links are below) if you plan to attend.
Mondays from March 4 to 18: Group 1 to 3.25
Wednesdays from March 6 to 20: Group 3.25 & 3.5
Thursdays from March 7 to 21: Group 3.5 & 4+

"King/Queen of the Court" events will be held for each group on the following days:
Group 1&2 - February 18 at 1pm
Group 2.5 - January 14 at 1pm - Cancelled due to low participation
Group 3 - January 14 at 3pm
Group 3.25 - February 18 at 3pm
Group 3.5 - March 10 at 1pm
Group 4+ - March 10 at 3pm

Basket Raffle Tickets For Sale!
The Pickleball Club will be selling basket raffle tickets during the CLUB EXPO/ARTISAN CRAFT FAIR on Saturday, March 9th from 8:30am - 12 pm AND at the BREAKFAST AND MARKET DAY AT THE CENTRE on Saturday, March 16th from 8am – 12pm.
Be sure to bring your money and get your tickets for our popular basket raffles!
Ticket Price: 1 for $1.00, 6 for $5.00, 15 for $10.00 or 36 for $20.00

The pickleball courts will be closed on Friday, January 19, February 23 and March 17, 2024 from 2:00pm to 3:30pm while the SR Band performs on the grass next to the gazebo during the "On the Green" event.

End of the Season BBQ and Fun Play Time Social Event
All members are invited to our final social event of the season to enjoy a free brat, bag of chips and pop, followed by playing some fun games of pickleball.
A Volunteer Appreciation Event will also take place and cake will be served in recognition of the hard work and dedication of our many volunteers.
If you plan to attend & eat we ask you to sign-up on SUG (before Thursday, March 21) to accommodate purchasing of food.

President's Cup - April 7 & 8, 2024!
PRESIDENT'S CUP – For the third consecutive year, Mike Savre put on a super fun event again this year:
Sunday evening, April 7th, at 6:30pm for anyone currently a 1-3 player; and
Monday evening, April 8th, at 6:30pm for anyone currently a 3.25 to 4+ player;
The "King/Queen of the Hill" format was used. The winning team will be awarded a prestigious coffee mug as a reminder of their pickleball prowess.
