4 Pack Pickleball Play - NEW Event for Thursday Evenings
We are “Lighting Up the Night” with a new program! Join the fun under the lights this season. We are offering an exciting new program called “4 Pack Pickleball”. This is a great way to meet new people, enjoy the evening under the lights and stay to socialize after.
This team event will be offered weekly for levels 3.5 to 4.0+.
The format of play will be MLP: teams compete against each other. A match consists of four (4) games. The first two (2) games are one (1) women’s doubles game and one (1) men’s doubles game played simultaneously, and then two (2) mixed doubles games played simultaneously.
Visit the SUG sign-up to register as an individual, teams will be randomly selected the day of play and will consist of 2 men and 2 women. Maximum of 4 teams each week.

CMARS Inter-Park Play League - NEW Play Program
CMARS Inter-Park Play - New Program
Inter-Park Play: means organized, friendly competition between different RV resorts, or residential communities.
Several RV parks in the immediate area are participating in the CMARS Inter-Park Pickleball League and Silveridge has joined as well:
- Carriage Manor: 7750 East Broadway Rd
- Agave: 7807 East main
- Resort (The): 1101 South Ellsworth Rd
- Sunland Village East (SVE): 2615 South Farnsworth
- Sunland Village: 4533 E Clovis Ave
- Silveridge Resort: 8265 E. Southern Ave - NEW member as of October 2026
This league was started by the Carriage Manor, Agave, Resort and Sunland Valley East. The first letter of each park name was used to create its name: CMARS.
This league is to promote pickleball play at a given level, within the valley and most of all having fun and meeting other players. All participating CMARS parks use a self rating system for their players. If you choose to participate in the CMARS Inter- Park Play, look at the schedule (is on our CMARS page on our website) and choose the appropriate sessions you want to be invited to. You can register for as many sessions as you want at your level of play. Gather up 1, 2 or 3 of our Silveridge players and make the short drive to another park for some fun and meet other players!
The CMARS Inter-park round robin play times and levels in Silveridge are as follows:
- Level 3.5: Wednesdays at 11:00 am.
- Level 3.75: Wednesdays at 11:00 am.
- Level 4.0+: Fridays at 3:00 pm.
- Ladies 3.25 to 3.75: Fridays at 3:00 pm.
An invite from SUG will be sent out 1 week in advance to sign-up and participate.

Ball Machine with a Coach - New Player Development Opportunity
New this season for members is an opportunity to book and use the pickleball ball machine with supervision of a coach to work on specific skills.
Up to 4 people can use the ball machine during one booking time. The coach will be present to set up and operate the machine.
Please do not infringe on another member’s booked time with a coach.
Wednesdays: 3:00pm for Groups 3.5 - 4.0+ and 4:00pm for Groups 3.0 & 3.25

Coached Drills - New Player Development Opportunity
These sessions are hosted by high level player coaches from within our club. The entire session will focus on practice of specific drills designed to enhance a player's ability to consistently perform specific actions at an improved level.

New to Pickleball - Starts November 16
New to Pickleball? New to Silveridge RV Resort? Just Curious?
We’re here to help you get started!
Our first “New to Pickleball” session is on November 16. Other sessions in 2026 will be on November 23, 30 and December 7.
The dates in 2027 will be posted here when they are established.
Whether you have never picked up a paddle or consider yourself a beginner, this orientation is designed for you. Join us to learn the basics, meet fellow players, and feel confident stepping onto the court.
What to Expect:
- Welcome from the Silveridge Pickleball Club
- Introduction to Pickleball: Rules, scoring, and basic techniques
- Court Etiquette & Gear Tips: Learn what to bring to the courts and how our club facilitates play at all levels
- Live Practice Time: Get on the court and try it out with other beginners!
- Sessions are limited to 10 players.
- Come learn about pickleball and connect with others who are just starting out—we're excited to have you in the Silveridge community!

To prepare for the New to Pickleball sessions:
- Visit the “Resources” page on our website for the Pickleball Videos. Viewing the videos will be helpful before attending the New to Pickleball.
- Bring your paddle if you have one! If necessary, we will have some available for borrowing.
- Wear court shoes and comfortable athletic clothing and bring a container of water for hydration.
- Please bring safety glasses, or regular glasses or sunglasses are fine too.

Group 2.5 Lessons - New Player Development Opportunity
Group 2.5 will have lessons during the first 45-60 minutes of the round robin sessions on November 20, 27, December 4 and 11.
The player development team has designed the sessions to assist players in advancing their pickleball knowledge and skills.
The instructors are Silveridge Pickleball Club members who happily volunteer their time for the betterment of the members.

Newcomers are greeted warmly, regulars might share tips and encouragement, and post-game chats can be just as lively as the matches themselves. We encourage members to bring a yummy snack to the event to share with others between games. It’s a place where you can challenge yourself, make friends, enjoy some yummy food and leave feeling better than when you arrived.
No registration is required. Just show up, play and have fun!

Mentor Play Sessions - New Player Development Opportunity
Sessions will be offered to levels 3.75 & 4.0+ on court 5 and 3.25 & 3.5 on court 6.
- 2026 Dates: Monday, 3:00 to 4:30 pm, November 23, 30, December 7
- 2027 Dates: TBD
Sessions will be hosted by a high-level player from within our club and will focus primarily on the mental side of pickleball. Participants will receive active and timely feedback during actual game play on positioning, strategy, placement, pace, communication and footwork. The latter part of the session may be recorded to allow the participants to view their playing style with their mentor.
4 participants are required per session. It is recommended that interested persons recruit three others of a similar skill and all 4 sign up.
To ensure equal opportunity, club members should only sign up once per season for mentor play.

Using all 8 courts, the Silveridge Pickleball Club is running a fun MLP (Major League Play™) format tournament with a Silveridge backspin! Below are some of the guidelines for the tournament.
All registered players are to arrive at the courts and be checked in at the registration desk by 12:30 p.m. sharp. The tournament starts at 1:00 pm.
PLAYERS & TEAMS
Each team will consist of four players, two (2) women and two (2) men. There will be a maximum of 8 teams. The minimum number of teams required for this event is 4. Otherwise, the event will be cancelled. Click here to sign-up on SUG to register to participate in the tournament.
Teams will be determined by random drawing of names.
GROUP PLAY FORMAT
The format of play: teams in each squad compete against each other team in their squad. A match consists of four (4) games. The first two (2) games are one (1) women’s doubles game and one (1) men’s doubles game played simultaneously, and then two (2) mixed doubles games played simultaneously.
There will be three (3) matches which means each player will end up playing 6 games total (2 games per Match) and then the top team from each squad will play a winner “takes all” championship game.

The Club has arranged for Tennis & Pickleball Cabana to visit our courts on January 16, 2027.
There will be several paddles to try and representatives to answer your questions.

Group 2.5 & 3.0 Pickleball PALOOZA Tournament - Sunday, January 24, 2027
Groups 2.5 and 3.0 will play in a fun PALOOZA format tournament on courts 1 to 5. All registered players are to arrive at the courts and be checked in at the registration desk by 12:30 pm sharp. The tournament begins at 1:00 pm.
The round robin format will be used for this tournament. It is a competition format where you get a new partner for every single game, but you will track your own personal score for each game, ensuring everyone gets the same amount of playtime and a ranking based on your total number of points scored. Gold, Silver and Bronze placements will be awarded to the players receiving the top 3 rankings at the end the tournament.
The names of the players entering the tournament will be put into a hat and numbers will be drawn at the start of the tournament.

Let's Play Bingo on February 17, 2027!
The Renter’s Association has provided financial funding to your Club on numerous occasions. We have purchased several items with those funds. Therefore, we ask our pickleball players (and spouse/significant other) to support the bingo fund and the Renter’s Association by playing bingo on February 17, 2027.
- Doors open at 4:30pm
- Arrive early if you plan to eat
- Dinner is served between 4:30 and 5:30pm or while supplies last
- Bingo begins promptly at 6:00pm

2027 Annual General Meeting - Saturday, March 6, 2027
The Club’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Saturday, March 6th in the Ballroom. Dinner will be served at 5:00pm and the meeting will begin at approximately 6:00pm.
Who: current club members (and your partner/significant other who are not members) are invited to attend the dinner and AGM.
We ask you to visit SignUpGenius and sign-up if they plan on eating the meal and attending the meeting. Please sign-up before 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 4th to accommodate for meeting preparations and ordering of food.
Where: Ballroom
Why: elect officers for the Executive Committee, review annual membership dues, amendments to the by-laws, receive updates, and provide feedback.
Offices of Executive Committee: President; 1st Vice President; 2nd Vice President; Treasurer; Secretary; Communications Officer.
Food: will be served at approximately at 5:00pm.
