Each season our Player Development Committee puts together a plan of different skill & development activities for our members. Below is a list of those activities for the coming season.

The Club has a ball machine, which can be booked and used for members to practice and develop their skills. Coaching Drills

These sessions are hosted by high level player coaches from within our club. The entire 1-hour session will focus on practice of specific drills designed to enhance a player’s ability to consistently perform specified actions at an improved level. These sessions are on Monday and Wednesdays from 3 to 5pm on courts 1 to 4. Click here to sign up on SUG for a 1-hour session.

Combined Round Robin Play

Combined round robin sessions are when groups from adjacent skill levels play together. These are fun, social games that allow players from the higher group to mentor players from the lower group, and the lower group players gain valuable experience playing along with the higher group’s players.  These sessions occurs during the first full week of each month. Members will sign up on their round robin session in SUG to participate.

Group 2.0 Skills Development

The skills development sessions are hosted by mentor/coaches who will guide new players through a curriculum focused on skill development and general knowledge and rules of the game. Active play may be limited to the latter part of the session. These sessions are on Tuesday at 9am, Wednesday at 1pm, Thursday at 9am, and Friday at 1pm. Group 2.0 players will receive invites to sign-up on SUG.

Group 2.5 Lessons

We have lessons for the Group 2.5 members in November and December. The sessions are on Tuesday and Thursday from 3 to 4pm on courts 5 & 6. Click here to sign up on SUG to attend.

Mentor Play

These sessions will be hosted by high level player coaches/mentors from within our club. The intent of these sessions is for players to receive active and timely feedback during game play. This may include a debrief of each point including positioning, strategy, placement and pace. Sessions may also be video recorded to allow players and mentors to view their playing style. The sessions are on Monday at 4pm on courts 1 & 2. Click here to sign up on SUG for a 1-hour session.
